Dressing
for Success - How to Look Great for Your Date
If you are planning your next date and wondering
what to wear, and what look you are going for, then you are ahead of some
already. You realize how important it is to dress the part. If you want to
feel confident and look confident then you need to dress for success. Sure,
attitude and personality are very important, but there are many other things
that people will look at, like your clothing, your hair, and your general
appearance. It's important to realize that very rarely the guy that goes
on a date in old clothes, holey shoes, and unbrushed hair seldom gets laid
at the end of the night. Oh, and even if you aren't going for that extra
bonus at the end of the night doesn't mean you can go without changing your
underwear, after all you never know what can happen and nothing will ruin
the moment faster then some unruly Tighty Whities.
Dressing for success is going to have a lot
to do with personal hygiene and even more to do with personal style. The
funny thing about style is that something doesn't have to be "in" to be worn
well. If you have an interesting look, and you wear it well, people will
like it and praise you for being you. And that is excellent is this happens
for you! However, if you aren't sure what to do then consider these following
dating style and dressing tips.
The Bare Essentials
If you want to have a great date start by preparing
for that date like you are getting sex at the end of the night. It doesn't
matter if you are, or not, but chances are you will go that extra mile if
you think you're getting lucky. The key to your stylish looks are going to
start in the bathroom. You should take a shower and if you are wearing cologne
and having matching body wash, you will smell incredible. The body wash layered
by the cologne makes for a long lasting scent that your date will be sure
to notice. This is exactly what you want. But, remember, less is more.
Once you have finished the shower get your hair
looking good and pick out some sexy skivvies. Most men have at least one
pair of underwear that makes them feel like a God. Put on your sexy drawers
and realize you're the man so you can finish making yourself snazzy for your
new man.

The
Outfit
Dressing like a star is nice but let's face
it, if you are a white boy wearing pants out of the Andre 3000 video you
are asking for some sympathy looks and not phone numbers. The same goes
for the cuddly teddy bear type that tries to dress like a more sophisticated
version of a fetish guru. Fashion is great, but style is everything and style
is selective. Your ultimate goal is to be yourself. Reflect your own style
through the crisp outfits you'd normally wear. If you like polo shirts, or
button downs, then wear them. Ultimately fashion isn't any good if you do
not appear comfortable in the clothing you are wearing. If you are wearing
something that isn't your style (for the benefit of your date) then you probably
are going to appear like a fish out of water - and that's not the
impression you want to make. Remember, if you were so bad then you probably
wouldn't have gotten the date in the first place.
The Accessories
From your watch on your wrist, to the rings
on your fingers, accessories will be noticed. It's important to match your
accessories to your outfit, and the style of date you are going on. Remember
that too much jewelry is just as bad, if not worse, as too little. As a bonus
to the jewelry pointers remember this: something that might help you on your
date is noticing his jewelry, too. If you are nervous use that as a possible
conversation piece. Ask him where he got it and if it has a special significance.
Once you get him talking you will calm down, look more comfortable, and be
sending out the vibes needed for a successful date.
